Sabrina Fields

Senior Program Manager | The Corporation for Supportive Housing

“Racial equity matters to me because it’s my everyday. I choose to make it my every day because race always matters. And when we are color blind or choose not to recognize it, or just don’t acknowledge that the impacts of race are real, I don’t feel seen and we’re also not seeing other folks fully. We are not acknowledging that there are traumas that come with the lived experience of people of color. Racial equity is being able to honor that and being able to integrate that as part of how we have conversations and how we engage with each other.”
