Liberatory leadership challenges oppressive workplace norms and empowers others allowing them to thrive.

Shake off the traditional leadership path and ground yourself in your authentic, liberatory leadership style.

Traditional leadership avatars are rooted in white supremacist, patriarchal norms that exclude BIPOC staff from leadership roles and create stifling workplaces. An equitable organization requires leaders who are outside of the traditional mold and can lead in a different way.

If you are an aspiring leader, this course will help you skill up and strengthen your ability to show up as an anti-racist, liberatory leader.

We support participants in building their liberatory leadership skills by:

  • Examining traditional leadership, white supremacist work culture, and how we have internalized those messages.

  • Finding and feeling grounded in your own authentic leadership genius.

  • Countering white supremacist culture and building your anti-racist, equitable leader muscles.

  • How to move from the singular leadership style to collective leadership.

  • How to strengthen your ability to work with people who think differently from you.

  • Detaching your identity from your work

  • Finding your supportive community.
