AI4Abolition

Avriel Epps (she and they)

“I am a computational social scientist with a background in AI and developmental science. I am also an abolitionist and have organized around abolitionist causes in Los Angeles and Cambridge, MA. As a survivor of sexual harm, it has been an on going transformative justice process, not a prison sentence, that has allowed me to find healing.”

Justice GPT is an initiative of AI4Abolition and is dedicated to utilizing community-developed technology to scale access to transformative justice resources for systems-impacted BIPOC youth and femmes.

Dr. Avriel Epps is a Civic Science Postdoctoral Fellow at Cornell University’s CATLab. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and an S.M. in Data Science from Harvard University.
