Berlin Contreras

Associate Director of Street Based Engagement | HOPICS

“I believe my addressing racial equity and justice is important to ending and preventing homelessness because it allows all our clients the opportunity to be served across the board without leaving anyone out. It gives our clients the ability to all be seen as well as feeling inclusive and part of community.”

Berlin, a native of Inglewood, CA, has dedicated her career to serving underserved youth, individuals, families, and communities. Her personal experiences growing up have shaped her into a devoted advocate for these communities.
