Camille Demano
Camille Demano is a proud resident of the city of Los Angeles who strives to move through the world with kindness, curiosity, and gratitude every day.
She currently works as Manager of Operations at National Health Foundation, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that removes barriers preventing under-resourced communities from achieving their highest level of health, though she has held various positions during her time there.
Camille also volunteers on the Board of Directors for the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council, encouraging the community’s involvement in guiding their path forward. In her free time, you can often find Camille playing with and caring for her formerly stray cat, rescue turtle, and many, many houseplants.
Camille is honored and thrilled to be a part of SJPLA’s Racial Equity Fellowship, and excited to connect, grow, learn (and un-learn) with rest of her cohort.
