Teresa Wang (she/her)

Senior Communications Manager

Teresa has spent her career communicating for nonprofits, private industry, athletics teams, and candidates. She began to focus her projects and subsequently her work on social justice in the wake of Prop 8 in California. Born and raised in Southern California, Teresa believes Los Angeles can serve as a model where we center justice and dismantle inequitable systems proving that we can thrive without them.

She comes from Ocean & Mountain, where she built websites, managed social media campaigns, crafted messaging, and managed organization rebranding projects for various clients leading social change. Before O&M, Teresa did digital communications consulting for local organizations like KIWA and Wage Justice Center.

Teresa graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics, University of San Francisco with an M.A. in Sport Management, and Antioch University with an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. She lives in San Gabriel with her partner Melissa and two kids. In her free time, she watches all of the television.
