Wellbeing Series: Interconnectivity and Trusting Sources with Tina Orduno Calderon

Interconnectivity and Trusting Sources

Tina will guide us in meditative stress release and share ancestral teachings of interconnectivity to all, connecting with ancestors, and trusting source for guidance, healing and protection. She will share tools on shedding negative energies and raising vibration to attract the love and goodness you deserve to help your spiritual growth.

Tina will also share her poems and ground us with song in the Tongva language.

Tina Orduno Calderon is a Culture Bearer of Gabrielino Tongva, Chumash and Yoeme decent. She is a singer, traditional dancer, poet, and storyteller who strongly believes in honoring her ancestors by sharing their history, educating others about Indigenous truths, and inspiring others to respect the land, waters, sacred elements, and environment.

Tina is a mentor to youth and young adults and is often called upon to consult and present on traditional cultural knowledge.

SJPLA’s Wellbeing Series is a free workshop every third Thursday of the month at 11 am. The workshops introduce a variety of healing modalities to anyone working to end homelessness in Los Angeles, as part of our Racial Equity in Homelessness Initiative. These sessions promote personal rest, renewal, and connection creating space for discussion on how to sustain wellbeing practices.
