Wellbeing Series: Honoring Yourself While Helping Others with Angel Towler

In this session, participants will explore the often overlooked mental, physical, and emotional toll of the valuable work they do, with a focus on the unique challenges faced by BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) workers. We'll delve into the impact of these challenges on well-being, discussing the prevalent issue of burnout and exhaustion.

Throughout the workshop, we aim to create a supportive space for individuals to prioritize self-care and discover effective ways to navigate the demands of their roles. From practical strategies for personal rest and renewal to fostering connections with like-minded peers, this session is designed to empower participants with tools to sustain their well-being practices. This workshop hopes to not only emphasize the importance of self-care but also encourage open dialogue on building resilience in the face of challenges.
