JOB DESCRIPTION:

LAHSA is the Continuum of Care and rehousing system administrator for Los Angeles. LAHSA is a public agency and a joint powers authority of the City of LA and LA County, which is the regional planning body that coordinates housing and services for homeless families and individuals in Los Angeles County. LAHSA coordinates and manages over $800 million annually in federal, state, county, and city funds for programs that provide shelter, housing, and services to people experiencing homelessness.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Hilton Fellow will assist with special projects within HR like the updating and creation of new agency policies and procedures, SOPs, creating workplan templates for the agency, assistance with implementation of our new performance management program, employee satisfaction and stay surveys and collaboration with our Asset Management/Operations department. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience coordinating and leading HR projects.  The ideal candidate will also have strong experience in diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and an understanding of human resources best practices.  At least 5 years direct experience in an HR department, particularly in a leading role.  PHR & SHRM-CP or SPHR or SHRM - SCP desired.
