Aletheia Broom is currently the Asst. Director of Interim Housing at The People's Concern Kensington Campus. Aletheia oversees the 156-bed co-ed programs working with adult which include Enhanced Females, Enhanced Older Adults, Bridge, and DMH IHP.

Prior to that, Aletheia worked at Covenant House California as the Director of Safe Haven program for TAY where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Crisis Shelter, Bridge Bed, DMH Enhance Emergency Service (EESP) programs and the Human Trafficking (HT) component using the Enhance Collaborative Model (ECM) which provided HT youth with short-term housing.

Aletheia began her career in the homeless sector began as an intern at the Riverside County Housing Authority, then she worked for the Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles (HACoLA) for over 6 years overseeing the day to day operations of the Shelter Plus Care, Continuum of Care, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with HIV/ADS programs. She also worked as a VASH Coordinator, assisting homeless veterans in getting housed.

Aletheia is passionate about her commitment to helping our most vulnerable of the homeless population to tap into their strengths and capabilities gain access to opportunities that will better their lives.

Aletheia has a AA and AS degree from Riverside Community College, BA in Communications from the California State University of San Bernardino, and an MPA from the University of Southern California.
