Reconnect: An Ancient Tool for Modern Living and Connection with Natalie Patterson

Natalie Patterson Reconnect An Ancient tool for modern living and connection

Imagine a world where each person was held in dignity, where it was safe to be fully yourself, where listening to understand was primary, and where connection and equity were centered. This world is what Council offers us. Council, an ancient talking circle, invites us into a sacred space. It allows us to show up as we are, in all of our complexity and glory, to listen deeply and be heard fully.

By fostering attentive listening and authentic expression, Council builds relationships between participants and neutralizes hierarchical dynamics formed by the inequality of status, race, or other social factors. It supports a deep sense of community and fosters recognition of shared humanity and interconnectedness. It enables individuals to give voice to their stories, develop mutual respect, cultivate a compassionate response to a range of emotions, and strengthen emotional health and resilience.

Come open and willing to experience magic and connection.

This offering is for you if:

  • You need to recharge

  • You want to feel connected to others

  • You believe in the power of community

  • You want to practice communicating

  • You want to practice being brave

  • You want to learn a tool to help support community building
