Healing Justice for Ourselves, our Communities, and our Workspaces - Summer Session

Registration for this session is full. Fill out the form below to be notified when registration opens for the next session on October 17.

SJPLA’s Healing Justice for Ourselves, our Communities, and our Workspaces is a free five-week course for folks who work in the homeless response sector. Through guided discussion, practices, guest speakers, participants will learn more about the healing justice framework created by Cara Page and the Kindred Healing Justice Collective.

We rarely address the mental, physical, and emotional toll of this work, felt most acutely by BIPOC workers, leading to burnout and attrition. Providing healing practices and tools to care for this workforce helps retain expert employees and renew their ability to care for their clients.

What is Healing Justice?

  • Week 4: Compassion Fatigue and Burnout
