Wellbeing Series: Radical Imagination with Nicole Cardoza

Nicole Cardoza

The past decade has forced us to reckon with the barriers that make imagining our way to a better tomorrow difficult. So where do we go from here?

In this session, Nicole will illuminate the skills we need to imagine a path forward and build a practice that centers our collective wellbeing. Leveraging her experience as an instructor, investor, entrepreneur, and magician, Nicole will leave participants enthused about the possibilities to evolve our practice.

Nicole Cardoza is an award-winning serial social entrepreneur, investor, author, and public speaker making wellness accessible for everyone. Her company, Reclamation Ventures, incubates and invests in projects committed to health and racial equity. Current projects include Wellemental and Anti-Racism Daily. She also manages the Reclamation Ventures Fund, which has distributed over $400,000 in direct support grants to people making wellness more accessible.

SJPLA’s Wellbeing Series is a free workshop every third Thursday of the month at 11 am. The workshops introduce a variety of healing modalities to anyone working to end homelessness in Los Angeles, as part of our Racial Equity in Homelessness Initiative. These sessions promote personal rest, renewal, and connection creating space for discussion on how to sustain wellbeing practices.
