Wellbeing Series: Unlikely Yoga - Big Movement in Small Spaces with Jessica Rihal

Join us for an hour of free virtual yoga. This is going to be a practice that can be done seated and standing from any location where space is a limitation and a yoga mat/floor space may not be accessible. This practice will be suitable for all levels.

Jessica Rihal (she/her) is a Plus Size Yoga Instructor and a strong advocate of fitness and wellness for all bodies. Based in Irvine, California, Jessica believes that all bodies can be and deserve to be celebrated through movement and enjoys doing so by teaching students how to adapt yoga to the body they are in today. Jessica is passionate and dedicated to helping others rebuild and redefine their connection to movement and exercise.

SJPLA’s Wellbeing Series is a free workshop every second Thursday of the month at 11 am. The workshops introduce a variety of healing modalities as part of our Racial Equity in Homelessness Initiative. These sessions promote personal rest, renewal, and connection creating space for discussion on how to sustain wellbeing practices.
