Leadership Exchange Fellowship

Preparing leaders in Los Angeles County's homeless response sector for executive leadership through immersive mentorship, executive shadowing, and professional coaching.

Our Vision

Our work creates a permanent shift in who leads homelessness services in LA, ensuring that leadership decisions are made by those with lived experience, deep community ties, and a commitment to racial equity. Through the Fellowship, we're building a future where leadership reflects the communities it serves, driving innovative and sustainable solutions to homelessness in Los Angeles County.

Program Overview

  • Executive Shadowing

Fellows participate in three two-month rotations, working directly with CEOs and Executive Directors in nonprofits and public agencies. This hands-on experience provides unique insight into high-level decision-making, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.

  • Professional Coaching

Each Fellow receives one-on-one executive coaching throughout the program, helping build confidence, develop leadership skills, and prepare for executive roles.

  • Cross-Sector Collaboration

Fellows build relationships across nonprofits and public agencies, creating a powerful network of leaders committed to addressing homelessness through an equity lens.
